About Me
Hi, I'm Paras — the founder and lead developer behind FileCraft Pro. I'm a web developer with a deep passion for building tools that make everyday tasks simpler for everyone, while respecting their privacy.
I created FileCraft Pro after experiencing firsthand the frustration of needing to do basic file tasks — resizing an image, merging two PDFs, generating a QR code — only to find that most online tools either required expensive subscriptions, demanded personal information, or uploaded sensitive files to unknown servers.
I believed there had to be a better way. Modern browsers are incredibly powerful, capable of processing images, manipulating documents, and generating complex outputs entirely on the client side. So I built FileCraft Pro with one guiding principle: your files should never leave your device.
My Background & Expertise
With experience in full-stack web development, I specialize in building high-performance browser-based applications using vanilla JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas APIs, and modern Web APIs. My professional focus areas include:
🌐
Web Development
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern browser APIs
🖼️
Image Processing
Canvas API, format conversion, compression algorithms
📄
Document Handling
PDF manipulation, format conversion, data extraction
🔒
Privacy Technology
Client-side processing, zero-upload architecture
Why I Built FileCraft Pro
Every tool on FileCraft Pro was built to solve a real problem I encountered or that someone asked me about. The PDF Merger? Born from needing to combine loan application documents. The Image Resizer? From the constant need to resize photos for different social media platforms. The JSON Formatter? From daily development work where I needed to quickly debug API responses.
What sets FileCraft Pro apart from other online tools is the fundamental architectural decision: everything runs in your browser. No file uploads. No server-side processing. No data stored anywhere. You can even disconnect from the internet after loading a page and the tools will continue to work.
I write about file formats, image optimization, PDF workflows, and developer tools on the FileCraft Pro Blog, sharing the technical knowledge I've gained while building these tools.
My Commitment
- Free forever: Every tool remains free to use — no premium tiers or hidden fees
- Privacy first: I will never change the architecture to upload files to servers
- Continuous improvement: I actively develop new tools and improve existing ones based on user feedback
- Transparency: I'm always honest about how the site works and how it's funded (non-intrusive ads)
