Most PDF readers have a rotate button that only changes how the file is displayed on your screen right now — close the file and the rotation is gone, and the person you email it to still sees it sideways. That's the single most common PDF orientation confusion. A real fix has to modify the page's /Rotate attribute inside the file, which is exactly what this tool does: each PDF page object carries a rotation value (0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees), and every compliant viewer applies it when rendering. The page content isn't re-rendered or recompressed — one metadata value changes, so the fix is instant and completely lossless.
Scanners and copiers. Feed a landscape page into a sheet scanner, or a stack with one sheet turned, and the output PDF has rotated pages. Mixed stacks of portrait letters and landscape spreadsheets are the classic case — fix just the affected pages here.
